2012
There is to be a different emphasis to the 2012 Insurance
Corporation Conservation Awards, which launch today in both the
bailiwick of Guernsey and in Jersey.
Environmentalists and eco-friendly gardeners will again have the
chance to win £2,000 and schools culd earn £1,000 in funding if
their entries are successful in the competition which has been
running for 22 years.
"In the past we have always rewarded successful conservation
projects but this year we have decided to change the emphasis and
help fund ideas and potentail initiatives," said competition
founder and chairman of Insurance Corporation, Peter Walpole.
