In the Community

As a truly local insurance company, we believe it is important to put something back into the community.  Through our Community Support Programme (a mix of education, arts, sport, the environment and charitable causes) we are widely supportive and integrated into the Channel Islands community, being involved in causes that are important to our people, our brokers and our customers.

Catel De Lecq – 4 Years On

Since 2008, Insurance Corporation has supported the Catel de Lecq (on Jersey’s north coast) project in Jersey. A project co-ordinated by States of Jersey Department of the Environment (on Jersey’s north coast) and funded through a partnership initiative with the Insurance Corporation of the Channel Islands.

Winners – ADHD And Sleep Apnoea

The 2011 Insurance Corporation Healthcare Bursary has, this year, awarded two prizes to two very different projects.

Selected from a shortlist of five, the first prize of £2,000 went to clinical nurse practitioners, Joe Hind and Paul Fisher, for their plans to create an interactive board game for people with ADHD.

Healthcare Bursary 2010

The Insurance Corporation Healthcare Bursary awards are annually held and offer the opportunity for Health and Social Care professionals to expand their skills and improve healthcare in the Bailiwick.  A bursary of £ 3,000 is awarded to fund the winning project.

Every year a variety of projects are seen but unfortunately there is only one prize.
